Étienne
Little is known in Lauvitel about the dark haired, clean-shaven man called
Étienne. He arrived along with the known commodity Brother Antoine and
decided to stay behind as the monk continued on his journey. Quiet and
somewhat of a solitary soul, Étienne lives on the outskirts of the
community and tries to belong to the village. While he occupies the
profession of fisherman, his skills obviously lie elsewhere. Beneath his
helpful exterior the more attuned judges of character can sense a fierce
heart and a past as dark as his hair. When called into service by the
magi, Etienne's knowledge of the Savoy area and unique methods of dealing
with people are of great benefit.
He has already made himself invaluable on various trips to Grenoble
and Venosc when supplies are needed, often travelling with Conrad
for such expeditions.
He can occasionally be seen practicing with two swords near his hut
in the upper valley.
