NOTE: <NAME> can be replaced by find and ``REPLACE ALL'' when the troupe
names her.

<NAME>'s family was lost bandit raiders many years ago, before she could
learn to speak. She was not old enough to remember her birth given
name. If not for <HORSE NAME>'s protection, the child would have surely
perished. She grew up with <HORSE NAME> as her mount and learned the
ways of the herd, as simple as those ways are. She has learned to run
from humans and most other large animals. But of late years, her
curiosity about humans has come to surface, possibly due to the natural
human forces being released.

I am getting an idea for a feral companion. She is a young teenage girl
who has survived in the wilderness, in no small part by a magical horse
she befriended. Although she has always avoided civilized areas, she
has become curious in the last year or two, and may be seen poking about
the secluded Lakehome area. The problem is she has no capability of
speaking and will probably dart off at the first sighting. And she
surely will not meet anyone with her friend, in fear that something bad
may happen to the horse.

Would this be good enough to justify an animal handling skill? I mean,
the horse, being magical and all, is kind of independent and certainly
would not require much ``handling.'' Animal handling is kind of a skill
derived from civilization and meant to domesticate. Plus I wouldn't be
taking her on too many stories to start off with. Not until she is
comfortable with the troupe. She will be very fun to play though, I
think. Especially since she has no name and the troupe will end up
naming her. That kind of sounds like fun.

Any thoughts?

Animal Ken (Animal Ken Talent 1)

Magical Animal Companion (Can give 2 virtues to the animal as 1 flaw to
self)

Could be a lot of fun. I'd see her running with a herd of wild horses
and drifting closer to Lakehome and being perhaps seen by Osprey on a
flyover.
